About Your Instructor and Owner, Melissa
I discovered Pilates after experiencing a life-changing injury that reshaped my path and deepened my curiosity about how the body works and heals. My recovery journey led me to Balanced Body training, where I found a method that not only rebuilt my strength but also restored my confidence.
With a background in Tai Chi, I bring a mindful, flowing approach to movement—focused on balance, body awareness, and resilience. While I may not come from a traditional fitness background, my passion for Pilates runs deep. I know firsthand the challenges of recovery, and I believe movement has the power to transform lives.
I opened Bloom Pilates to share that belief with others—to create a space where people can safely build strength, recover from injury, and discover what their bodies are capable
of. My goal is to meet each client where they are and help them move toward strength, confidence, and lasting wellness.
